Business Support Assistant

The Business Support Assistant is an important role in the smooth and efficient running of Sefton Park Palm House. Based in our office, the post holder will undertake important administrative duties including, answering telephone and email enquiries, diary co-ordination and note taking. The post holder will support the Finance Manager and other managers in business critical record keeping.

The Visitor Experience Manager at Sefton Park Palm House Preservation Trust (SPPHPT) is central to ensuring a consistent and excellent visitor experience. Reporting to the Head of Visitors & Communities, the role is responsible for ensuring an outstanding visitor experience for all visitors and will act as our main visitor champion. Ensuring that visitors have an excellent experience leading to high levels of satisfaction is central to increasing individual giving and encouraging higher levels of commercial spend.

The Executive Assistant will provide executive support to the CEO and act as key point of contact in support of the Board of Trustees. Working with the CEO and Chair of the Board, the postholder will schedule and coordinate meetings, take effective minutes and undertake other key administrative duties. The postholder will be a hybrid worker – working from home and attending site as required. The working pattern for this role is generally two 4 hour shifts per week (Monday to Friday).
