Japanese Matsuri with Japanese Society North West

We are thrilled to welcome back JETAA and JSNW who will be hosting this years Japanese Matsuri, step into a world of vibrant Japanese culture and timeless traditions.

Prepare for an unforgettable experience as we bring the spirit of Japan right here to Liverpool in this extraordinary festival. We will be bringing together the best of Japanese culture from across the UK. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Sefton Park Palm House’s lush greenery, this family-friendly event is a celebration of community and culture. Whether you’re a lifelong Japan enthusiast or simply curious to explore something new, there’s something for everyone.

You can once again expect to see fantastic koto (Japanese harp) and taiko performances, as well as martial arts, kimono, ikebana, crafts, and much more!
