The Liverpool Male Voice Choir
The Liverpool Male Voice Choir is the only traditional male-voice choir in Liverpool. Formed in 1911, we’re one of the longest- standing choirs in the City. Currently we have 31 choristers, headed by our musical Director – Richard Marshall and accompanist – Danny Gerrard. Our repertoire comprises a wide range of songs, show songs spirituals, operatic choruses, hymn tunes, shanties, carols and more, thus providing plenty of variety to satisfy our audiences. New members are warmly welcomed. No previous experience is necessary. Contact: [email protected]
Gislaveds Manskör (Gislaved male choir)
We are an old chir started in 1913. We are today 28 members and sing traditional mail voice songs together with more popular songs from today. We do performances about 15-20 times a year and try to travel with the choir within Sweden (or outside the country). And now we are happy to come to Liverpool, where we hopefully can perform with our favourite song “You’ll never walk alone!” Gislaved is a small town in the south of Sweden and has a rich musical life. It is also famous for the music school that has raised a lot of talents. Now we will be 16 members from our choir included our musical leader Viktor Grek.
