The Palm House History Day

The Palm House history day is an opportunity for you to find out more about the Palm House. Our wonderful volunteers will be stationed at points of interest around the building and the grounds. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the Palm House failed bomb attack, the installation of the Peter Pan statue and the botanical collection including details of what is to be believed the oldest Palm dating to 1896. Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund you can now learn more about the Palm House using our brand-new V-Box which you can connect whilst here but for this very special event the volunteers will be bringing this history to life!
